In this studio course, students explore the design and function of packaging, including product protection, safety, communication, brand identity, and advertising. Topics include logo design, typography, pictorial elements, and colour theory. Students will also examine the environmental impact of contemporary package design and sustainable solutions. Studio work will be supported by technical demonstrations, presentations, and critique.
Access to Adobe Illustrator is recommended.
