Through presentations, lectures, discussions, material exploration, and field trips, students should gain an understanding of the current relationship between art and architecture, in the creation of public spaces. Topics include installation art, relational aesthetics, architecture, and urbanism within a local and international context. Students may focus on any of these topics for their final project, which could be a written work or an artwork in their medium of choice.
