Course Description

This course provides an overview of project management practices for creative and digital professionals interested in developing their business skills. This course will introduce students to agile, waterfall, and hybrid project delivery frameworks. Students will learn about agile project frameworks such as scrum and Kanban as well as the Project Management Institute's five project phases and ten project knowledge areas. In addition, this course will provide best practices for entrepreneurs who are looking to utilize project management tools and techniques to create a solid foundation for their business.  

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

• Create a project plan that includes the scope and work breakdown structure
• Develop a project’s schedule for all work tasks and activities
• Estimate all costs and developed a project budget
